WATCH: Belichick Talks Chandler Jones Incident, Gives Few Answers

Bill Belichick addressed the controversy during his Thursday morning press conference.

Bill Belichick responded to questions about Chandler Jones the exact way most people would expect him to – very tight lipped with minimal details.

Belichick gave little insight into the team’s reaction Jones’ incident from Sunday morning when he spoke to the media Thursday morning.

“There’s nothing more important to me than the health and well being of our players, staff, and support people in our organization. That’s the way with it is in the organization and me personally and I don’t think that will ever change,” he said. “We issued a statement on that I really don’t have anything to add to it.”

Sunday, Jones was taken to Norwood Hospital after he went to the Foxborough Pubilc Safety Building with a medical emergency. The Boston Globe reports that the incident was caused by a bad reaction to synthetic marijuana.

Belichick was asked if Jones’ playing time would be affected by the incident but declined to say if the plan would change.

“We’ll find out on Saturday. I could xerox a copy of the game plan, you can send it over to Kansas City. Might be easier for all of us,” he said.

Belichick field a few more questions before requesting questions about the Chiefs, telling the media that he is done discussing the incident.
