Patriots safety Duron Harmon is saying sorry for a recent incident which saw him get busted for trying to bring marijuana into Costa Rica.
Harmon posted the apology on his Instagram account over the weekend. He was arrested at Juan Santamaría International Airport just outside of San Jose on the eve of Holy Week and denied entry into the county after authorities allegedly found 58 grams of marijuana, three pipettes with marijuana oil, one THC confection and four glass containers containing compressed marijuana.
"I would like to extend my deepest regrets and sincerest apologies to Patriots fans, my teammates, my coaches, the Krafts and the NFL. In addition, I apologize to my friends, family and especially my wife and two sons. Friday does not represent who I am or the person I strive to be. I am committed to doing everything within my power to regain the trust and respect of everyone who believes in me as an athlete, role model, person and friend. I appreciate your understanding and, once again, I apologize with all my heart," Harmon wrote.

After the arrest, Harmon was sent back to the United States and returned to Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, the airport he initially flew out of.
Harmon was drafted by the Patriots in the third round of the 2013 NFL Draft. He is known for his clutch late-game interceptions including against the Baltimore Ravens in the 2014 playoffs and against the Pittsburgh Steelers during the 2017 season.
