FRAMINGHAM, MA — Neighbors are trying to help a family whose house was destroyed by fire Monday night.

No one was injured, but the Jantzens – two parents and two children – lost their home at 11 Conant Road.

Now a GoFundMe campaign is raising money to help the family restore their lives. Launched Tuesday by a friend, Joanna Georgiopoulos Armistead, the drive aims to collect $30,000.

“In a matter of moments, they lost not only their house, but many of their belongings, memories and sense of security that make a home feel like home,” the campaign’s webpage reads.

The family’s father, Will Jantzen, has worked for 20 years as a special education teacher in the Framingham public school system, according to the site. Previously, he served in the U.S. Army.
