Bob Fintonis Awarded Master Road Scholar Degree

Framingham resident Bob Fintonis recently celebrated his 40-year anniversary, as an employee of the Framingham Public Works Department.

This week, he was awarded the coveted “Master Road Scholar” degree.

He is the only member of the Framingham DPW to achieve this important distinction, according to the Framingham DPW Facebook page.

Fintonis started his career with Framingham Public Works in 1974. He has served as watchman, laborer, light equipment operator, foreman, supervisor, as well as streets and utilities Inspector.

Fintonis currently holds the newly-created position of construction coordinator, a liaison between the capital projects and public works departments as well as safety officials.
