Deadline Approaches For Cultural Council College Scholarship
The applicant must be currently attending a high school in Framingham as a senior and plan on majoring in the arts.
FRAMINGHAM, MA- The deadline for the Rita and Bill Collins Memorial Arts Scholarship is coming up at the end of the month and the Cultural Council is accepting applications.
To qualify for the scholarship, students must currently attend a high school in Framingham as a senior. (Framingham High School, Marian High School, Keefe Technical High School, Sudbury Valley School, Learning Center for the Deaf, or other) They must also plan on majoring in the arts.
The applicant must have created a work in the area of visual arts, performing arts, or language arts within the previous 24 months. Examples are painting, sculpture, photography, videography, poetry, short story, novel, play, musical composition, or dance choreography. This must be submitted with the application along with an essay and a letter of recommendation.
