Deadly Fire In Framingham: Man, 67, Killed

The fire broke out around 7 p.m. Monday at a home along Swift Road.

FRAMINGHAM, MA — A 67-year-old man died after a fire broke out in a home along Swift Road in Framingham on Monday night, according to fire officials. The cause of the fire was still under investigation as of Tuesday morning.

The single-alarm fire broke out just after 7 p.m. Monday at 46 Swift Road and burned for about an hour, according to fire officials.

The fire investigation is being handled jointly by the Framingham Fire Department, and state police with the state Fire Marshal and the Middlesex District Attorney's Office, according to acting Fire Chief Michael Dutcher.
