The bikes will be taken by the non-profit "Bikes Not Bombs" to be cleaned and tuned in their vocational training center. Then the refurbished bikes will be used in a number of ways such as for Youth Programs here, in international programs, or to be sold in their retail bike shop in Jamaica Plain. The organization is a 501(c)3 non-profit so the value of the bike plus the fee of $10 (to help offset handling) are both tax deductible. See www.bikesnotbombs.org for more information.
