Expect Delays on Students Coming Home: Framingham Supt.
Superintendent Robert Tremblay warned parents that downed wires in the roads could affect bus routes during school dismissal.

FRAMINGHAM, MA- Superintendent Robert Tremblay warned parents on Monday that students may be later than usual at dismissal.
Tremblay said buses may be delayed due to the downed trees and wires in the roads from the high winds that whipped through the city. "We have advised students who may be walking home today to be aware of and avoid contact with any downed wires," he said, adding that children should call them into the Framingham Police Department.
Downed wires caused power outages throughout the city on Monday with 898 reported in the city as of 2:15 p.m. and over 48,000 across the state according to the Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency.
