Framingham Coronavirus Case Count Hits Triple Digits
With 13 new coronavirus cases added on Friday, Framingham has had 106 total cases during the outbreak.

FRAMINGHAM, MA — Framingham crossed a threshold on Friday that few local communities have during the coronavirus outbreak: the city's total case count reached triple digits.
Between March 11 and April 3, Framingham has confirmed 106 coronavirus cases. Five people from the city have died, and 19 people have recovered from the virus.
Between Thursday and Friday, Framingham confirmed 13 new cases. The largest single-day increase was on March 31, when 19 people were diagnosed.

Nearby, Natick has counted 50 cases during the pandemic, with 24 cases still active as of Thursday. Milford has had 15 cases, and Marlborough had 53 cases as of Thursday. Worcester passed 200 cases on Thursday.
Cases are starting to surge statewide. On Thursday, officials added more than 1,200 new cases to the overall total, which stood at just under 9,000 as of Friday morning. About 156 people have died across the state.
