Embattled MA Doctor Indicted On 2 Framingham Rape Charges
Derrick Todd was indicted this week on charges that he assaulted two women during medical examinations in Framingham.
FRAMINGHAM, MA — A Massachusetts doctor who practiced at several locations in the state has been indicted on two counts of rape, the Middlesex County District Attorney's Office announced this week.
Dr. Derrick Todd, who practiced at locations including the Charles River Medical Associates, in Framingham, was indicted by a Middlesex County Grand Jury after charges that allege he sexually assaulted two women who were his patients.
The assaults are said to have occurred in December 2022 and June 2023 during medical examinations.

Todd also practiced at Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital in Boston.
An arraignment has not yet been scheduled, but officials said one could be held as early as Friday.

Todd stopped practicing medicine after he was terminated from his position due to accusations of sexual misconduct in 2023.
Todd, who was chief of clinical rheumatology at Faulkner, was terminated after complaints from two physicians sparked an internal investigation in the spring, The Boston Globe reported. Among these complaints were concerns about Todd's alleged improper practice of breast exams and pelvic exams.
After the decision was made to terminate Todd, he resigned, according to WCVB.
Todd's Voluntary Agreement Not to Practice Medicine was signed by Todd and his attorney at the time, Ingrid Martin, and accepted by the Board of Registration in Medicine Sept. 5, documents show.
