FRAMINGHAM, MA – A Framingham High junior has won the 2017 Hometown Media Award in the category of Educational Profile – Student for directing and editing a document on Woodrow Wilson IB Gala, which aired on the Framingham Education Channel. Pretty impressive by itself until you realize that Megan Romine is the first person from Framingham has won in any category in this national competition!
The Hometown Media Awards is the "foundation" of the Allicane for Community Media's annual awards program, the website says. It honors and promotes community media and local cable programs on public, educational, or governmental access TV.
