Framingham High's BSU Movie Night Set For April 5
The Black Student Union will be screening The Hate U Give with a discussion after.
FRAMINGHAM, MA- Framingham High School's Black Student Union will host a screening of the film The Hate U Give on April 5.
The screening is open to the public and a discussion about the movie will follow. The film is based on the book by Angie Thomas. The film follows one teens life as she balances between worlds: her lower class, mostly black neighborhood and her upper class mostly white prep school. The teen learns to find her voice after witnessing the shooting of her friend at the hands of a police officer.
Friendly discussion is welcome and food will be provided. Those planning on attending can RSVP online. The screening will be held from 6-9 p.m. at Framingham High School.
