Framingham Man Found With Fentanyl: Police

Police found the man passed out in a motel room and later found several bags of fentanyl hidden in his shoe.

FRAMINGHAM, MA- A Framingham man is facing drug possession with intent to distribute charges after police found him passed out in a Route 9 Motel on Monday.

Police got a call that a man, identified as Michael Gonzalez, was intoxicated and banging on one of the motel room doors on the second floor. When police arrived at the Motel 6 on Worcester Road, they found Gonzalez passed out on the floor, according to the police report.

When officers woke Gonzalez up, they found him intoxicated and placed him protective custody. According to the report Gonzalez "could barely walk on his own."

Gonzalez was booked at the police station and as officers searched him they asked him to remove his shoes. Inside one of his boots was several plastic bags containing a brown powder substance, according to the report.

A rapid response field test kit on an individual baggy came back positive for Fentanyl, according to the report.
