FRAMINGHAM, MA — A group of Framingham residents will hold a rally Friday to support Ukraine as the nation grapples with the recent military invasion by Russia.
Rally organizer Dhruba Sen said the event will begin at 2 p.m. near the corner of Waverly and Concord streets (Routes 135 and 126) in downtown Framingham. There will be free N95 masks available to anyone who attends.
Russia began a military invasion of Ukraine last week, subjecting Ukrainians to airstrikes and tank attacks. Millions of Ukrainians have fled the country, hoping to escape escalating violence.
