Framingham School Transportation Sign-Up Time

The following is from Framingham Schools:

It is that time of year again where we are asking families to sign up for transportation for the next school year. The deadline for transportation sign up is May 31, 2017.

A new online sign up for transportation using the Aspen X2 Portal, has been created. The login process to X2 is familiar for most MS and HS families; this will be a new process for families of elementary school students. Parents will be able to sign up online using their child’s LASID number.

Instructions have been created and are posted on the Transportation Department webpage.

Who needs to complete the form?

 All students in grades 6-12 and students in K-5 who live within 2 miles of their assigned school

o No student will be assigned to a bus unless a request for bus transportation is received and approved by the Transportation Department

 Students in grades K-5 who live outside the 2 mile limit of their assigned school will be automatically assigned to a bus

 Students who have an IEP with transportation included are assigned a bus

o Parents who intend to use parent pickup/drop off

o Parents who need to request an alternate stop/daycare location for grades K-5

For students who attend McAuliffe Charter School and any of the private or parochial schools; please contact the school your student will be attending, to sign up for transportation.
