Man Hurled Sexual Epithets At Officers: Framingham Police
Framingham police said officers were about to leave the scene when the man continued yelling derogatory words at them.

FRAMINGHAM, MA— A homeless man in Framingham was charged with disorderly conduct on Wednesday. Police said he would not stop yelling profane and sexual epithets at officers on scene.
Framingham police were called to the area of Irving Street and Hollis Street on Wednesday night for reports of a fight. The area is known for having lots of pedestrians and traffic at all times of the day because of the large number of restaurants and shops.
When officers arrived on scene the man, identified as Joseph Johns, was walking away from the area and officers stopped him to ask what had happened, according to police. Johns immediately got upset and started yelling at the officers. He sat on a ledge looking visibly upset, according to police.

As he yelled he used "large amounts of profanity and derogatory words," according to police. Johns was asked multiple times by the officers to keep his voice down and stop yelling since there were people within an earshot and they did not want to cause a scene, according to police.
As police questioned Johns and surveyed the scene they found no instance of a fight breaking out and let Johns go. While he walked away, Johns again started screaming profanities, racial, and sexual epithets and officers arrested him and charged him with disorderly conduct. "Josephs behavior served no legitimate purpose," police said.
