NSTAR Reporting 25% of Framingham Without Power
25 percent of Framingham, including most of Route 9, and 42 percent of Natick is without power, as of 2 a.m. Saturday.

UPDATED: At 6 a.m. NSTAR was reporting all customers in Framingham and Natick had power restored.

As of 3:30 a.m. 14 percent of Framingham or 4,308 customers were still without power. In Natick, 34 percent or more than 5,700 customers were still in the dark.

As of 3 a.m., 20 percent of Framingham or 5,965 customers are without power. In Natick, 36 percent or more than 6,000 customers were still without power.
Still no official word why power is out to such a large portion of MetroWest. Power outages also reported in Sudbury and Wayland too.
If you are still awake, I'd recommend turning off and unplugging anything that was on when power went out before you go to bed, so when power is restored, you don't experience a surge and lose an appliance, TV, computer, etc.

NSTAR is trying to restore power to 25 percent of Framingham and more than 40 percent of Natick, including most of Route 9 at 2 a.m. Saturday.
NSTAR is reporting almost 7,500 customers in Framingham and 7,000 customers in Natick without power as of 2 a.m.
Unconfirmed report that a vehicle struck a pole and knocked out power.
Patch readers reporting AMC theatre and restaurants and pubs along Routes 9 and 30 lost power with customers inside.
Traffic lights are out at several major interesections in Framingham.
First reports of the power outages came about 12:45 a.m.
NSTAR has not reported when power will be restored.
