At Parole Hearing, Murderer Of Framingham Girl Apologizes: Report
There may not be a decision on the parole request for several months.
FRAMINGHAM, MA — The man imprisoned for the 1996 murder of Kimberly Bolton, then 17, apologized to her family at a parole hearing on Thursday.
But family members were “unmoved,” the MetroWest Daily News reported.
Damien Lockhart, now 52, is seeking parole for the fifth time since becoming eligible several years ago. He’s been behind bars since 1997 for second-degree murder.

Lockhart beat the teenager to death with a rock after attempting to rape her near the Waverly Street train station.
Relatives of Bolton have asked the public to write the Massachusetts Parole Board about the tragedy. Comments are being accepted until March 19.

At last week’s hearing the board also heard comments from relatives of Lockhart, claiming he has turned his life around.
The board issued no decision on Thursday, and typically issues rulings several months after a hearing.
