Photos Show Framingham Starbucks Robbery Suspect

State police have released images of a man suspected of robbing a Starbucks along the Mass Pike on Dec. 26.

FRAMINGHAM, MA — Massachusetts State Police have released several images of a man who robbed a Starbucks along the Mass Pike early Thursday morning. The robber flashed a gun at employees before stealing cash from a safe, according to police.

The robbery happened near 6:30 a.m. Thursday at the coffee shop, located along westbound I-90 just east of Edgell Road. The suspect entered the Starbucks through an employee entrance wearing all black, flashed a handgun at two workers, and then forced them to open a safe.

The man then fled holding loose cash, some of which he dropped in the grass outside the Starbucks. He got into a dark SUV parked in a neighborhood north of the rest area along Audrea Road and then drove northbound toward Brook Street.

Police believe the robber is between 5'5" and 5'8" tall, weighs about 160 pounds, and has brownish eyes. He was wearing black pants, boots, and a coat, plus black latex gloves and a black ski mask during the robbery. The suspect may have been standing outside the same Starbucks early in the morning on Christmas Eve, according to police.
