State Rep. Jack Patrick Lewis Joins Democratic State Committee
The Democratic State Committee elected Lewis to take the chair of the late Rep. Chris Walsh.

FRAMINGHAM, MA- State Rep. Jack Patrick Lewis was elected into the Democratic State Committee.
Rep. Lew was elected by delegates from Ashland, Framingham, Franklin, Holliston, Hopkinton, Medway and Natick. He will fill the seat of the late Rep. Chris Walsh who died last year. Lewis serves as the state representative for the 7th Middlesex District, which is made up of Ashland and six of Framingham’s 18 precincts. He was re-elected to his second term in November 2018.
The Democratic State Committee handles the events and ongoings of the Democratic Party between state conventions. This includes running campaigns and filling vacancies in the nominations for state-wide and congressional offices, among other things.
