Crash Causes Scene on Worcester Street

Crews were still cleaning up Tuesday afternoon.

Police responded to a crash on early this morning that resulted in a sedan coming to a resting spot aside to on Worcester Street.

@911EmergencyMA was among the Twitter accounts that posted pictures of the crash after 7 a.m. Tuesday. 

As of 1 p.m., crews were still cleaning up the area. The vehicle apparently hit a guide wire to the utility pole, which shook the transformer and caused some oil and other fluids to leak on to the pavement. An environmental cleaning crew was on scene this afternoon.
