In Court: Habitual Traffic Offender Pleads Guilty

Jose A. Garcia, 27, of 105 Mayfield St., #3, Worcester, was arraigned on charges related to State Police stopping him on the Mass Pike in Grafton on July 14. Garcia was charged with operating a motor vehicle with a licensed revoked because of habitual traffic offenses, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, a traffic violation, speeding and permitting unlicensed/suspended operation of a motor vehicle. He pleaded guilty on the first charge, and was sentenced to five days in the House of Correction. The second charge was dismissed, while the third and fourth were filed. The final charge was dismissed.
