Worcester County Holds Out Hope For Ricky Duran On 'The Voice'
The county and the country will find out if Ricky Duran makes it to the "Top 13" on NBC's "The Voice."
GRAFTON, MA — Fans of NBC's "The Voice" in Grafton and Worcester County will sit with their fingers crossed and their votes ready on Tuesday night, hoping their hometown musician Ricky Durant makes it through the next phase of the singing competition. Durant, a Grafton native, captured the celebrity judges with his audition earlier in the month.
On Tuesday night, fans will find out whether Duran made it to the "Top 13" based on his performance Monday night. He sang John Mellencamp’s "Small Town" for his last performance and judges praised his voice. Duran's coach, Blake Shelton said, "You can really kind of do it all, but I want America to vote you through tomorrow because you’re the guy that we all want to see make it."
Duran made it to the show's "Top 20" but will have to wait for voters to decide if he moves onto the "Top 13."
