• PRESS RELEASE - Electronic Voting Issue at 2026 Fall Town Meeting (grotonma.gov) — Groton's town manager is apologizing after an electronic voting malfunction disrupted the October 3 Fall Town Meeting, forcing a switch to paper voting cards. The problem was traced to a misconfigured base station, and new testing procedures are promised so both base stations are verified before future meetings to restore voter confidence.
