Nursery School at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary Nursery School Raises $350 for Chad Orphans

The Nursery School at recently conducted its annual Hop-a-Thon fundraiser to benefit orphans in Chad. Through per-hop pledges and flat-rate donations, 45 students raised more than $350.

The money is donated to Mission: Chad, a nonprofit organization that partners with other non-profit organizations in Chad to support orphans and widows. Since 2005, through annual Hop-a-Thons and monthly offerings, the Nursery School has supported two Mission: Chad orphans.

The Gordon-Conwell Nursery School, located on the campus of Gordon-Conwell, is open to all families in the Hamilton-Wenham and Salem area. An auxiliary enterprise of the seminary, the school offers a play-based, child-centered program that encourages socialization and independence and stimulates children's development in all areas. The school is still accepting enrollments for January.
