Wenham Museum is open to the public Tuesday through Sunday. The museum is closed Mondays, except for Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
The Egbert Gallery's Adventures Among the Thimble People Exhibition explores the history of sewing by hand in early America. The hands-on exhibit features original examples of girl's sewing machines by major companies, historic sewing books and patterns and examples of young girls' needlework.
Young visitors to the exhibit will be able to experiment with fun and safe hand-sewing activities.
