The Lorelei Ensemble is an 8 women a cappella vocal ensemble based in Boston. We specialize in performances of lesser-known composers from the pre-Renaissance through Baroque eras, as well as expanding the contemporary repertoire for women's voices. This concert will feature a mix of early and new music inspired by the universal theme of Light. Music by John Taverner, Guillaume Dufay, John Sheppard, Sulpitia Cesis, as well as contemporary music by Maggi Payne, Mary Koppel, and Jocelyn Hagen.
