Leave the gray winter behind and put yourself “in the pink” with a hand picked selection of dresses and accessories in many varieties of pink from rose to shrimp. How many shades can you name? Did you know that pink used to be a color for boys -- because it was related to red, which was considered too aggressive for girls? From an 18th century satin petticoat to a 1920s boy’s linen romper or a velvet suit from the 1960s, it’s all “pretty in pink”. Children have fun dressing up in costumes and admiring themselves in the exhibit's fun-house mirror.
