The Elves and the Shoemaker Marionette Puppet Show

The Cape Ann Waldorf School Magical Strings Puppet Troupe will be performing a full-scale marionette puppet show of the beloved Grimm's fairy tale, "The Elves and the Shoemaker."

This is a story about a poor shoemaker and his wife who receive from the elves after giving their last pair of shoes away to a needy woman. From the pieces of leather the shoemaker leaves out each evening, the elves create high quality shoes for him to sell. In gratitude, the shoemaker and his wife create clothes and shoes for the elves. This puppet show is a favorite for all ages.
