A native of Alaska, Chelsea credits much of her success to her babysitter and Mother’s best friend, Alaskan folk singer and two-time Grammy nominee, Robin Hopper. In her childhood home, there was always folk music playing and talk of musicians and songs.

Chelsea’s voice has been compared to that of Joni Mitchell. With strong lyrics, her music is reminiscent of tracks by Alanis Morrissette, Sheryl Crow, and Florence and the Machine.
