Below is information about O’Connor and “This Old House” from a COA press release.

Kevin O’Connor became host of “This Old House” in 2003, taking over the show that had been running since its inception in 1979. Originally planned as a one-time 13-episode series on Boston’s PBS station WGBH, the show has grown into a nationally shown program with spin-offs such as The New Yankee Workshop hosted by Norm Abram, a magazine and for-profit websites. The show has won 17 Emmy awards and been nominated for 82!
