Patton Park Concerts Kick Off This Weekend

Sunday’s in Patton Park will begin its 2015 concert season on Sunday, June 21 with a ”family friendly soft rock [and] jazz” concert.

The concerts continue throughout the summer and are free to the public. Each Sunday, a different act takes the stage at Hamilton’s Patton Park. Concerts begin at 5:30 p.m.

The schedule of shows is below.

• June 21 - Father’s Day concert featuring soft rock/jazz
• June 28 - Bill Staines (New England folk legend)
• July 5 - The Hollands (Americana/folk revival)
• July 12 - Jah Spirit (African reggae/calypson)
• July 19 - Tom Eaton & Pick 3 (Acoustic bluegrass)
• July 26 - Horizon & The Horns (music from the ‘50s through today)
• Aug. 2 - Folk, Popular and Sacred (First Congregational Church Hamilton musicians will perform an array of music)
• Aug. 9 - Overdrive (Swing, motown and dance)

In the event of rain, the weekly concerts will be held At Asbury Grove Tabernacle (1 Pleasant St., South Hamilton).
