Charges Dropped Against Teen Accused Of Threatening Rockland HS
One of the two teens arrested last Friday will not face charges.

ROCKLAND, MA — Charges against a teen accused of making threats towards Rockland Senior High School have been dropped.
The Rockland Police Department announced that a 14-year-old boy will not be charged. Police say they have determined that the other boy arrested, a 15-year-old used the 14-year-old's phone to allegedly call a Boston news station with a threat aimed at the high school.
Police say the 14-year-old was unaware of the 15-year-old's intent.

The Feb. 16 incident caused a brief sheltered in place across the Rockland Public Schools.
The 15-year-old will still face charges of making terroristic threats and disturbing a school assembly. Due to his age, his name and information about the court proceedings will not be released.
