The Company Theatre Announces 2017 Special Events Series
Music, Dance, Family Entertainment and More in Norwell
The award-winning Company Theatre presents their 2017 Special Events Series, featuring an eclectic lineup of performances, providing the best in music, dance and family entertainment. Tickets go on sale September 12. All events are held at The Company Theatre Center for the Arts, 30 Accord Park Drive, Norwell.

Roomful of Blues – Saturday, January 7, 8 pm, tickets are $26

With five Grammy® Award nominations and seven Blues Music Awards, Roomful of Blues continues to deliver its signature blend of swing, rock ‘n’ roll, jump, blues and R&B. Blues Revue says, “...contagious, finger-popping, head-bopping grooves...the horns blast loud and proud...explosive and electrifying. Roomful of Blues is a sheer joy!”

The American singer/songwriter/activist with the velvety bass voice is portrayed in concert with one of country/pop music’s greatest and most endearing vocalists! Presenting Terry Lee Goffee as Johnny Cash and Josie Waverly as Patsy Cline, the duo performs both legends greatest hits, from “Ring of Fire”, “I Walk the Line” and “Folsom Prison Blues,” to “Crazy”, “I Fall to Pieces” and “Walking After Midnight.” Two legends, two bands…one stage.

Tribute to James Taylor – Saturday, February 4, 8 pm, tickets are $26
The music of James Taylor continues to be part of the fiber of pop music culture. Through the musical magic and storytelling of Dave Binder, this great show sheds new light on the words and music of this timeless performer. Close your eyes and you are certain James is in the room. The evening also provides a fascinating look into his life and times.
Eaglemania – Saturday February 25, 4 and 8 pm, tickets are $30
EagleMania performs all of the hits of the Eagles, as well as Don Henley, Glenn Frey, and Joe Walsh’s solo albums. Their attention to detail and ability to reproduce the Eagles signature sound leaves their fans with an unforgettable experience. People often remark that an Eaglemania is like listening to the actual Eagles live in concert! “Take it to the Limit!”
Dublin’s Irish Cabaret – Saturday, May 6, 4 pm and 8 pm, tickets are $34
Famed tenor and Carnegie Hall performer Andy Cooney invites you to join him in an exhilarating and distinctive blend of Irish music, song, laughter and dance, in an event designed to please the entire family. Andy Cooney, dubbed “America’s Favorite Irish Son”, is joined by Ireland's funniest comedian Mick Thomas, the Irish Step and Contemporary dance team of Darrah Carr, and the energetic Andy Cooney Band. The Everly Brothers Experience – Saturday, May 20, 4 pm and 8 pm, tickets are $30

Divas with a Twist – Tuesday, June 6, 7:30 pm, tickets are $23
A unique group comprised of five powerhouse female vocalists, backed by Grammy nominated musicians, Divas with a Twist is not your average cover band! Unique twists on original cover songs rule the stage with dynamic harmonies and fresh new arrangements of pop, rock, jazz, country and Broadway. Tony Night – Sunday, June 11, 7:30 pm, tickets are $50 (date subject to Tony Awards® schedule)
Celebrate Broadway's biggest night at the best Tony Awards® viewing party outside of NYC! Come dressed to the nines for this benefit evening and be virtually transported to the red carpet where paparazzi will be waiting to snap your picture. The Edwards Twins – Saturday, September 16, 4 pm and 8 pm, tickets are $34
