"During my time on Advisory, I have taken leadership on the issues by seeking out details, asking questions, listening, and being willing to learn. As a Selectman, I would apply this same approach to the areas that I see as Hingham's priorities: planning for our future while respecting our past, using Town resources wisely, and promoting trust in Hingham's town government.
"I pledge to the residents of Hingham that I will give the time for your voice to be heard, understood, and respected."
A resident of Hingham for nine years, Eric lives on High Street with his wife Annie McGuire, who works for the Boston Symphony Orchestra. In his spare time, Eric enjoys cooking (especially chili), playing the piano, and sailing. Eric and Annie are active parishioners at Resurrection Church.
After attending public school in Middletown, CT, Eric continued his education at the George Washington University (B.A. '02); Oxford University, Pembroke College ('00-01); and Columbia Law School (J.D. '05).
"Hingham is a special community and I would be proud to contribute to Hingham's future," Eric said.
