Witnesses told police that the truck was traveling on North Street from Route 3A, cross over the center line, and drove head-on into the bus.

One of the injured passengers refused medical treatment and rode away on a bicycle. The driver of the truck, the two other passengers and the bus driver were transported to South Shore Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, police said.
No one in the truck wrote a seat belt while the bus driver was wearing their seat belt.
The truck driver, an 18-year-old from Pembroke, was cited for operating to endanger, marked lanes violation, impeded/unsafe operation, and a seat belt violation. He will appear at Hingham District Court on the charges at a future date.
North Street was closed at Station Street and at Main Street until 7:30 p.m.
