Hingham Police: World's End Closed Due to Coronavirus, Stay Away
Hingham police tell residents not to park in the neighborhoods around closed World's End park.
HINGHAM, MA — Hingham police are telling the public to stay away from the closed World's End park area as frustration grows with cars parked in the neighborhoods near the entrance of the facility. World's End, a collection of outdoor trails, open fields and carriage trails along the shoreline, was closed on Monday due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Monday 3/23. In response to the emergency order issued Monday by Governor Baker, The Trustees has made the difficult decision to temporarily close all outdoor properties from Tuesday, March 24-April 7. The gate at World’s End will be locked until April 7.

But Hingham police have twice sent out public notices about cars parked in the surrounding neighborhoods — with people presumably sneaking on to the grounds.
Still closed. We’re continuing to have people park illegally in neighborhoods around @worldsend02043. Again, please practice #SocialDistancing and please practice obeying signs. #Hingham #InThisTogether pic.twitter.com/PesS9PpMqa
