Hingham Rotary, Cushing/Main Left Off State’s List of Worst Intersections

See if any Hingham crossroad made the state's list of Worst Intersections.

Although Hingham is without traffic lights at some of the town’s busiest intersections, their streets remain safer than most in Massachusetts.

For years, residents have argued that Hingham needs to eliminate the rotary on route 3A and also install traffic lights at the Cushing and Main Street intersection, but neither of these intersections are as dangerous as others in the state.

The State Department of Transportation just released a list of the state’s worst intersections and not one of them was in Hingham.

The second-highest crash location was Randolph Avenue and Chickatawbut Road in nearby Milton.
