Legal C Bar Releases Design of New Hingham Restaurant
The new restaurant has made renovations to the Derby Street space which includes designs inspired from the tools and equipment used in the fishing industry

Hingham’s newest restaurant will not only bring clams, calamari and cocktails to the Derby Street Shoppes, but it will also bring a new bar-centric experience.
The new restaurant has made renovations to the Derby Street space which includes designs inspired from the tools and equipment used in the fishing industry, according to Lindsay Rotondi, a media spokeswoman for the company.
“The canopy over the bar is reminiscent of a lobster trap and a sea of hanging ropes serve as lighting over the communal tables,” Rotondi said in an email. “It is a bar-centric experience, but the open floor plan is visually zoned so guests can choose to be ‘in the action’ or at the periphery in more intimate seating divided by glass and steel room dividers.”
