Marshfield Hit and Run Suspect Arrested in Hingham, Charged with 2nd OUI
Police say the victim found the suspect's car over an hour after the incident.

HINGHAM, MA — A New Hampshire man involved in a Marshfield hit and run found the car that drove away, as he was leaving the hospital.
Thursday afternoon, the man told police that his vehicle was rear-ended by a Jeep Cherokee on Route 139 West in Marshfield, according to Boston.com.
The vehicle, which had father and son passengers, was cleared to leave by police have an hour-long investigation, with the father going to South Shore Hospital. As the son exited Route 3 in Hingham while on his way to the hospital to see his dad, he discovered the suspect's Jeep. The son blocked the passing lane and called 911.

Police arrested the driver, Ronald Harkins, 50, of Weymouth, and charged him with his second drunken driving offense, leaving the scene of an accident after property damage, and leaving the scene of an accident after causing personal injury.
Harkins pleaded not guilty Friday morning during his arraignment in Plymouth District Court in Hingham.
