Man's Real Identity Discovered in Tattoo During Hingham Arrest

Police say that a Dorchester man gave a false name during a traffic stop but only needed to see his hand for his real identity.

All police needed to do was look at the tattoo of a Dorchester man who allegedly gave a false name during a traffic stop Sunday.

Robert Yandle was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license (subsequent offense), giving a false name to a police officer, marked lanes violation and not having a current inspection sticker according to the Hingham Journal.

Police say that Yandel’s Infiniti Q45 was pulled over after it was observed drifting into the left travel lane. When Officer Jeffrey Kilroy ran the car’s plates through their computer system, it showed that the car did not have a valid inspection sticker and pulled the car over by the courthouse on George Washington Boulevard.

When asked for his name, Yandel allegedly said he did not have his license and registration and gave a name that did not match the address he gave. Kilroy then ran the last name again but with the first name he noticed tattooed on Yandel’s hand. The search showed that Yandel had a suspended license and he was taken into custody.
