DAC of Holliston Presents Annual Student Dance Concert

For the 17th straight year, the Dancing Arts Center's students put on their own show, from choreography to lighting to stage managing.

With three performances over the weekend, the Dancing Arts Center of Holliston presented its 17th Annual Student Dance Concert on Saturday and Sunday.

Guided by a faculty adviser, the DAC students ran the concert themselves, from choreography to lighting, ushering and stage managing. Ranging in age from five to 17, the students either danced in their own pieces or created routines for other performers.

Students picked their own music, worked with student lighting designers, created their own lighting plans and designed their own costumes. Other students worked as stage managers, ushers, light board operators, gel changers and sound technicians.
