Hooray for Books offers cooking/literacy classes for young children. Registration now open. FREE Open House 9/11/12.

Hooray for Books is now enrolling for classes for 2 yrs thru first graders. We all want our kids to not only learn to read, but also LOVE reading for life. HFB is the only spot in town that guarantees we will have your child laughing & loving reading because we add in a side of cooking and a cup of humor to every class!

Our classes combine a new weekly theme, humorous books read by teachers typically dressed like the theme, a yummy hands-on cooking activity related to the theme and a reading/language  based game. Classes are typically 2 hours long (except Toddlers in the Kitchen which is a 1 hr mom-n-me class and K Stay which is closer to 3 hrs) and meet once a week. Most HFB classes are drop-off  so parents actually get a useable chunk of time to grocery shop, work or work-out!

We also offer walkover classes from Hopkinton Integrated Preschool to turn your 8:30-11 day into an 8:30-1 day or your 12-2:30 day into a 9:45-2:30 day.

FALL classes begin Tues. Sept. 18th.

Stop by our FALL Open House: Tuesday, Sept 11th from 10-1:00 at 89 Hayden Rowe to see our whimsical classroom, meet the teachers and try a craft.

What else do we offer? No school day (like Wed. Sept. 26th) + vacation week camps, the best birthday parties around, 1st grade book/cook clubs, classes during the day and after school for kindergarteners and classes for 20 mos thru 7 yr olds weekly.
