Hopkinton Schools Top 25 In Greater Boston: Rankings

Boston Magazine ranked Hopkinton the 25th-best district in the Greater Boston area.

HOPKINTON, MA — Hopkinton students returned to school on Wednesday — and they can take comfort in knowing their school district is one of the best in the state. Boston Magazine ranked Hopkinton No. 25 on its list of Greater Boston public school districts. The rankings, released Sunday, was based on test scores, student-teacher ratios, class sizes, and graduation rates, among other factors.

  • Average class size: 19.9
  • Student-teacher ratio: 13 to 4
  • Graduation rate: 98.4 percent
  • Per-pupil spending: $13,535
