📰 News we're reading
• Berkshire ADU construction remains limited despite new Massachusetts incentives (berkshireeagle.com) — Lee homeowners are seeing how tough and expensive it still is to build accessory dwelling units, even with new state incentives, as one local project topped $250,000 despite extensive sweat equity. Berkshire County has approved only 16 ADUs since the 2025 law took effect, with incomplete state data even missing at least one Lee approval. High construction, permitting, and infrastructure costs remain the biggest barriers.
