5 Dates You Need to Know on the Lexington Public Schools Calendar
Here are five dates you should be aware of on the Lexington Public Schools calendar.

LEXINGTON, MA — The 2016-2017 school year is almost here, and while students may be dreading it, the time has come to make preparations for the upcoming school year.

All Lexington students will be back in school by Aug. 31. The return is immediately followed by another break, with no school Fri., Sept. 2 or Mon., Sept. 5 (Labor Day).

Here are five other important dates on the Lexington public schools calendar that you should be aware of during the first few months of the year.
- Sept. 15: Professional learning day, students have half da
- Sept. 22: Back-to-School Night, Elementary
- Sept. 29: Back-to-School Night, LHS
- Oct. 6: Back-to-School Night, Middle Schools
- Parent-Teacher Conferences: Elementary conferences are on Nov. 2 and 3 and students will have a half day. Middle school conferences will be on Nov. 19 and Dec. 2 and 9. Students will have no school on Nov. 18 and half-days on Dec. 2 and 9. LHS student conferences will be held on Nov. 28, and students will have no school.
