Are You Running the Boston Marathon?

The marathon is less than a month away, and we want to share your story with the Lexington community.

On Monday, April 16, shots will be fired.

It’ll happen both at the break of dawn on the , where a crowd will gather to witness a reenactment of the Battle of Lexington, and hours later in Hopkinton, to signal the start of the 116th Boston Marathon.

Both events promise to include attendees from Lexington and all around the world. And while most of the local focus will be on Patriots' Day events, parades and reenactments, we don’t want to forget about Marathon Monday.
