Boston Beer Works to Replace Watch City Brewing Co.

Boston Beer Works will open its eighth location at the former Watch City Brewing Co. space on Moody Street in Waltham, according to Downtown Waltham.

The nonprofit, aimed at promoting and revitalizing downtown Waltham, tweeted the news last week.

If Boston Beer Works follows its tradition, the brewpub would be named Waltham Beer Works.

Watch City Brewing Co., at 256 Moody St., the corner of Moody and Pine Street, abruptly closed in June after a 20-year run.
