People who have fully recovered from COVID-19 have antibodies in their plasma that can attack the virus. This convalescent plasma is being evaluated as treatment for patients with serious or immediately life-threatening COVID-19 infections.

Blood donations are also needed.

Due to the need for social distancing for the safety of both donors and Red Cross staff, the number of units of blood collected at each blood drive is now much lower. Please schedule yourself for a blood donation today.
