How Has Lexington Voted in Past Presidential Elections?

Democrats have owned Lexington during recent presidential election cycles.

LEXINGTON, MA — If the two most recent elections are any indication of future results, former Secretary of State and Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is likely to earn the most votes in Lexington.

According to the town's election data, Lexingtonians have overwhelmingly selected Democratic candidates in presidential elections since 2000. Obviously, Lexington residents have correctly picked the candidate that would go on to win the general election in each of the past two years.

This is the second year that former Lexington town meeting member Jill Stein will be on the ballot as a Green Party candidate. Stein earned 160 votes in Lexington, which was the most of any third party candidate since Ralph Nader earned 1,212 votes in Lexington in 2000.
